Day Out With Dad
Yesterday I really enjoyed being out with my dad for the first time in a long time. It was really nice to get my and I out the house and tour around our hometown Atlanta, Ga. First before we had hit downtown we stopped by our grandma's house so that my dad could pick up his mail. While we was sitting in the car in front of her house Grandma Lia pulled up and we was very happy to see her. Since my Grandma is always at my auntie house helping out with the kids no one really gets to see her as much as we would like. My sisters, my dad, and I said our hellos to her and letted her know that we wasnt staying long cause we was planning to go downtown to Centennial Park, but Monday our mother's 42nd Birthday is coming up and will be taking off from work. So we might just stop by her house again and spend time with her. After everything was said we headed off downtown to Centennial Park, but before we went to the park we was all a little hungry. We decided to go to The Varsity to get some chilli hot dogs and some onion rings. MMM Im getting hungry just thinking about it again. LOL! After eating and leaving The Varsity it started to rain really really bad, and we was thinking well i guess Centennial Park is out of the question now. My dad suggested that we could probably go the drive-in movies in decatur since it was raining and my sisters and I thought it was a wonderful idea, but we needed snacks. We went to Krogers and bought snacks and went to the movies, but soon as we got there the movie was so crowded to the point where cars was lined up all out the park way. So again my suggested since the movies was packed we should just go to BlockBuster and rent out some movies and that was even more perfect. So I rented out "Wrong Turn" and my sister rented out "Mall Cop" then we went home. Even though we didnt get to do all the things that we planned to do that following day. The most important thing that mattered was that we got to spend time with our father and thought about us when he wanted to do all those special things for us, and I know that is something we will always cherished and never forget. Love my daddy always and forever.
