On June 25, 2009; Thursday America and the world lost 2 amazing peoples all in one day. Farrah Fawcett from the original Charlie Angels passed that following morning after she lost her battle to cancer and Michael Jackson the King of Pop passed that following after noon after suffering a cardiac arrest at the age of 50. I think Michael Jackson's death stunned the world the most cause it was just so unexpected. He was planning to make his big come back and everyone was really looking forward to see him on tour and what really makes it so sad that his 3 little kids will grow up with out a father or will never get to experience certain things that kids experience with their father. This past following week has been really beautiful. Everyone has been showing love and has been doing their own kind of tribute to show respect to the King of Pop. I mean you could feel the love every where you went. In the car on the radio people were playing Michael's greatest hits. Such as PYT (Pretty Young Thing), Thriller, Beat It, Man in the Mirror, Smooth Criminal, You Rock My World, Butterflies, and many more hits to go along with it. Music videos were playing all day on MTV, BET, VH1, and TV1. Fans every where were initating Michael's signature dance moves such as the Moon Walk, and imitating his vocals in his songs. I mean it seem like Michael Jackson's death had a negative and a positive effect on the world. It's like his death brought everyone in the world together and made it very peaceful. As I heard certain songs from him on the radio, wonderful memories popped into my head that could never be replaced. A big smile was brought upon my face and I was enjoying every second of it. Shoot even my 2 1/2 year old baby sister was getting into the action. She's in love with Michael's song "Beat It" and the video. LOL! One thing I can definately say is that Michael Jackson lived a long tremendous life and is in a much better place than we could ever imagine. He will forever be remembered and will forever be in everyones heart.
