Today my father had a discussion with me and my sisters about dating outside of our race. My family are all black americans, and my father believes that no one should date anyone outside of their race. He mainly just doesn't want my sisters and I to date a caucasion male because of the bad experiences I guess he has had in his life. Such as when trying to get a job the boss seems to pick a light skinned person or a caucasion person before choosing him or any other dark skinned person. Now my sister and I (not my baby sister shes only 3) strongly believe that it is more than ok to date anyone no matter what color he or she is as long as the person has a good heart. I know that God put us all here on earth for a special reason, and he didn't plan for us to isolate our selves from others just because of their skin color. He want us all to love one another and to treat each other equally as we would want to be treated. To tell you the truth too is that no matter what color you are, everyone has done something wrong. Such as backstabbing people in the back, talking behind someone's back, lieing to others, and the list goes on. No one is innocent when it comes to those things. It is such a shame that some people would even waste their time worring about little things like that because everyone has a right to date or do whatever he or she wants to do. It's your life and at the end of the day you have to live with the consequences. My fellow bloggers what do you guys think? Is it really wrong to date outside of your race?
